Helping Hands + CARE & SHARE
We are blessed to be able to support a helping hands
ministry whose purpose is helping those in need with food
and clothing. With their love for their fellow man and the
community our members are the life blood of this work for
Christ.
Donations are accepted in the form of money
for support,  food and clothing.
Goods are distributed
to those in need at no charge by members of the team.
Why not let your hands help our hands in this work?

We are pleased to report the success of a trip we were
able to take to
Denmark SC. We were able to deliver food
and clothing to an economically depressed community.

In addition: Our
Meals for Miners program reaches out to
the coal mining community in Panther West Virgina. We
work in conjunction with a ;local mission and have been
able to make three (3) trips to the area delivering food
-clothing and household items to those in need.

Kentucky Missions has partnered with Mount Carmel
FWB in the effort to provide necessary food and clothing to
depressed portions of the Kentucky Appalachians.

God’s Guidelines for Christian Living

Sincere Christians always seek God’s Guidance for their everyday lives. They
depend on the word of God to direct them in their decision making processes.
Often however situations arise that test the ability of the Christian to discern
right from wrong or to make the better choice. Situations vary, but the word of
God remains an absolute guide. The following scripture references will provide
personal assistance in keeping your walk within God’s perfect will.

1. Can you ask God to bless it?
Proverbs  10:22 ¶  The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no
sorrow with it.

2. Can you thank him for it?
Collosians  3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the
Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

3. Is it to the glory of God?  Or is it of the world?
1Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all
to the glory of God.
1John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man
love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

4. Is it a stumbling block to others?
1Corinthians 8:9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a
stumbling block to them that are weak.

5. Will it be a weight?
Hebrews 12:1 ¶ Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a
cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily
beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

6. Is it to please God rather than man?
Collosians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto
men;

7. Do I realize the consequences?
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth,
that shall he also reap.

8. Is it expedient?  Does it edify?
Expedient – suitable for achieving a particular end in a given circumstance.
1Corinthians 10:23 ¶ All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient:
all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

9. Will it serve the right master?
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and
love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot
serve God and mammon.

10. Will his indwelling presence permit it?
1Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy
Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your
spirit, which are God's.

11. Would I want to be doing this when       Christ comes again?
Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the
Son of man cometh.

12. Does it Promote love?
Romans13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth
another hath fulfilled the law. Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour:
therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Do you trust God to be the guide in your decision making process?
Have you committed yourself and your will to him for your total everyday life
circumstances?
